Founded in 1970 and in continuous existence since, our roster has included many great flyers including AMA Hall of Fame inductees, model designers, builders and just plane good people!

A number of our members were and are affiliated with NASA. Our own Robert Stewart, currently 86, started flying model aircraft with NACA (now NASA) in 1942. He finished our 2005 competition year in 2nd place, Unlimited Expert, at the age of 84!

World Class Competitors, like Josh Glaab, also call our club home when not competing at the National and World level.

Our remaining charter member is Percy Pierce, our first President and a very big part of why we are still around today!

We form Charter 959 of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA).  You must be a member of AMA to fly with us.
